In the fall of 1980, fed up over the rival Bushwood Country Club in neighboring Bloomington, rich and affluent Greenfield residents organized the '''Longport Keys Golf Club''' on a 15-acre (6 ha) lot in the newly-developing district at Longport Keys West. The Longport Keys Golf Club & Resort, also known as as the Longport Keys Country Club, is a golf and country club on south side of Greenfield, CA, located in Longport Keys West.

History

In the fall of 1980, fed up over the rival Bushwood Country Club in neighboring Bloomington, rich and affluent Greenfield residents organized the Longport Keys Golf Club on a 15-acre (6 ha) lot in the newly-developing district at Longport Keys West. Originally open only for men, the Club was extended to women in 1997 following the death of Princess Diana. In 2004, the Club expanded the estate to construct a new clubhouse for overnight guests and their families.
