Church of Meteorology

The Church of Meteorology is a supposed cult whose beliefs stem from the interpretation of weather and other meteorological phenomenon. Established in 1965 by Tam Bruise in Greenfield, California, membership is restricted to members of the scientific community and invitation-only, according to a press release. Various rumors about the organization's purpose include it being an investment scam, a gathering of mad scientists, and a government cover-up of a secret government agency.

The Church is headquartered in the Cheney Building (previously the Cheney Hotel and the Cheney Residences) located in the Sonora neighborhood of Greenfield, California.
