|This flight was supposed to fly from Tullamarine Airport to the Changi airport in Singapore. Around 4 am on november 13th 1971 the plane went off radar and dissapeared forever. Many rescue efforts had been made but no remains were found,
until 10 years later when pieces of the wing washed up on the Indonesian shoreline. Experts think that the plane had engine issues, causing the

plane to crash into the Indian ocean. The families sued Golden Pacific and are still fighting for them to search for the plane, even tho it has been 50 years.

|Due to the recent oil crisis, the Golden Pacific company took a bunch of budget cuts. The plane did not get checked up for almost 2 years. While flying from Tullamarine to Kingsford Smith the two left engines stopped working, The plane made an SOS to land at the Canberra Airport. Unfortunately the plane did not make the airport and it had to make an emergancy landing in Lake George just outside of Canberra. 3 people died of hypothermia and many were hospitalized. After the budget cuts got out to the public, the enraged families of the victims, and some survivors sued the company. The GP company could not afford this, causing the company to file for chapter 11th bankruptcy in August 1975
